Update policy : Windows 10 Home and Professional, by default, update automatically. Check that auto-updates are enabled.
Windows 10 Education and Enterprise can be set to update automatically but this is not necessarily the default. Check that auto-updates are enabled.

How to check your version :

There are four editions of Windows 10 : Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education

On Desktop, type 'Settings' into search bar. Press Enter and a dialog containing the Windows edition and version will appear.

Security Updates : Windows 10 will stop receiving security updates on 14th October 2025.

Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Home : Latest version is 22H2

Windows 10 Enterprise and Education : Latest versions are 22H2 and 21H2
