These pages are intended to provide a simple way to check which version of an operating system is supported.

The listed systems are Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server, Apple iOS, Apple MacOS, Android, and ChromeOS.

Each of these has different release cycles and so the pages need to be kept up to date.

As there is a 14 day window to install updates in order to remain compliant, and there is a monthly CE webinar which also provides the update info, these pages will need to be updated regularly to remain accurate.

To edit the pages, go to the CE Knowledge Hub Refined space and go into the Operating System Support sub-page.

Open the relevant page and click edit. Change any dates that need to be amended and amend the Last Updated field in the PageProperties table. Click Update. The changes will propagate to the Cyber Essentials Knowledge Hub via the excerpts and therefore change the pages generated by Refined.

Windows systems – the end of support dates for these are shown and these do not change very often

iOS and MacOS have updates released fairly frequently and these can be found by following the links in the pages.

Android release security bulletins which state what versions have received an update recently.

ChromeOS provides the Chromium Dash pages, which give the release date for the Stable version in ChromeOS/Stable release field.
