Update policy : Windows 11 comes in different editions which have different end of support dates. The different editions are Home and Pro which are supported for 24 months and Education and Enterprise which are supported for 36 months. The different versions also have different licensing arrangements.

How to check your version :

Select Start > Settings > System > About . Open About settings.
Under Device specifications > System type, see if you're running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows.
Under Windows specifications, check which edition and version of Windows your device is running

Security Updates :

Latest version is 23H2 (released 21st October 2023)

End of security updatesservice dates. End of service means that security updates will no longer be provided by Microsoft after a certain date.

There are four editions of Windows 11 - Home, Pro, Enterprise, and Education.

Home and Pro editions have a servicing period of 24 months.

Enterprise and Education editions have a servicing period of 36 months.

Windows 11 releases monthly security updates on the second Tuesday of each month.

End of service period

At the end of the service period the version will no longer receive security updates.
