Chrome updates happen automatically and without notification every few weeks (currently 4 weeks for the Stable version).

You do not need to do anything for the device to update.
Most devices will be updated at the same time regardless of which company made them.

The lifecycle of a ChromeOS version is 4 weeks and you need to be using the latest version in order to receive security updates.

The latest Stable version is 120, released on January 4th 2024.
